Hi~ I am Yixuan Zhu
I am a recent graduate from the University of the Arts London, where I studied Interaction Design Art. During my studies, I accumulated rich experience in project research and experimentation, while cultivating strong project management and organizational skills. working together across different fields, and making sure projects are completed efficiently. My creative practice has not only interaction design but also various art forms, including ceramics, animation, installation art, and performance art.
I am particularly focused on feminism and social issues. In my work, I often explore topics related to women's identities, bodies, and their roles in society. I am keen to express these complex emotions and experiences through art, striving to provoke deep reflection on social realities among my audience.
I am also enthusiastic about experimenting with different artistic styles, from traditional ceramics to modern digital media, from metaphysical thinking to concrete performance art. I believe the diversity of art allows us to better understand the world and find each person's unique voice within it.
In my past projects, I had the honour of collaborating twice with the British Science Museum, with exhibitions in March 2023 and February 2024. These experiences provided me with valuable cross-disciplinary collaboration and a profound understanding of how art interacts with and resonates with the audience in public exhibitions.
I hope to continue exploring the intersection of art and design, creating works that are intellectually and emotionally powerful.
